Ram Charan’s Peddi is enjoying a successful run at the box office. And now, the film is set to get bigger. The makers of the film have announced that brand-new footage will be added to the film’s theatrical print. The announcement comes as Peddi, starring Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor and Jagapathi Babu, continues to bring audiences to cinemas.
Peddi gets an extended cut
The film, which was released on June 4, 2026, has been performing strongly at the box office. Amid this, the makers have added 5 minutes and 56 seconds of additional footage. The makers of Peddi took to social media to share the news with fans. They announced that 5 minutes and 56 seconds of never-seen-before scenes will be added to the theatrical version of the film staring June 19.
Sharing the announcement, the makers wrote, “The Peddi experience gets better 5 mins 56 seconds of new scenes will be added from tomorrow in theatres.”
As the new footage is added to the film, audiences can expect an extended theatrical experience of the Ram Charan’s sports drama. The move also gives fans another reason to revisit the film on the big screen as it continues its run.
This comes after director Buchi confirmed that the initial cut has been edited. “We have already edited it,” he said regarding the removal of objectionable scenes featuring Janhvi Kapoor. The filmmaker added, “There are two or three more scenes of Achiyyamma that we’re adding to the film. After watching them, I’m sure the audience will connect even more to the character.”

Peddi is written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film features Ram Charan in the lead role along with Janhvi Kapoor. The film also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. The ensemble cast has been one of the major highlights of the film.
The film has been produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, in collaboration with Mythri Movie Makers, Sukumar Writings and IVY Entertainment. Ishan Saksena also serves as the co-producer.
Meanwhile, the technical crew of Peddi includes some of the biggest names in Indian cinema. A R Rahman has composed the music for the film, while R Rathnavelu has handled the cinematography. Avinash Kolla has worked on the production design, Navin Nooli has edited the film, and V Y Praveen Kumar serves as the executive producer.
