Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggawral came together for an eventful evening during the 70th Filmfare Awards South. The Pushpa actor took to the Stories section of his official Instagram handle and published a selfie with Kajal.
Expressing his excitement about meeting his Arya 2 co-star again after 19 years, he wrote the text, “Reunion in Filmfare after 19 years (Black heart emoji) (sic)”, tagging Kajal Aggarwal.
The evening turned out to be extremely special for Allu Arjun as he was honoured with the Best Actor In A Leading Role (Male) – Telugu for his powerful performance in the blockbuster hit Pushpa 2: The Rule.
Allu Arjun`s upcoming projects
Allu Arjun has a couple of interesting projects lined up, including the much-anticipated AA22, directed by Atlee. Allu Arjun is playing four roles for the first time in his career in the film AA22. He is playing the entire family tree. He will be seen as a grandfather, father, and two sons in the film, making it a quadruple role for Allu.
For the first time, fans will witness Rashmika as the negative lead. Rashmika, as the antagonist, will reportedly lock horns with Allu Arjun, Deepika Padukone, Janhvi Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur.
Atlee and Allu Arjun completed a 50-day shooting schedule in Mumbai in September, which included a dance sequence.
Deepika joined them for their second schedule in Abu Dhabi in October, where they filmed high-octane action sequences in the red dunes of the Liwa Oasis.
