Kannada superstar Yash is back on the screens after a four-year-long hiatus with his much-awaited film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. The long-delayed film has finally hit the screens on Wednesday, August 26. Needless to say, the excitement among fans was at an all-time high as they gathered in large numbers for the morning shows to watch the film. The enthusiasm of the fans was evident from the videos now surfacing online, wherein fans are seen celebrating the release with grand gestures.
Fans celebrate Toxic’s release
In one of the videos shared by ANI, hundreds of fans are seen gathered at the historic Narthaki Theatre on Kempegowda Road in Bengaluru. The first-day screening of Toxic at Narthaki Theatre was seen turning into a festive celebration as fans arrived in large numbers to watch the much-awaited film.

In the videos, enthusiastic Yash fans are even seen dancing to dhol beats outside the theatre, creating a celebratory and festive atmosphere. The video also shows large posters being set up to welcome the moviegoers to the cinema.
The videos surfacing online also show huge, several-feet-long cutouts of Yash placed outside the theatres, adorned with massive garlands.
In another video from inside the cinema hall surfacing online, fans are seen celebrating Yash’s entry with confetti. Some fans are also seen standing near the big screen and waving flags as confetti covered the theatre.

The advance bookings for Toxic opened on August 21, five days prior to release. The advance booking trends witnessed massive demand, encouraging exhibitors to add early morning and late-night screenings.
Interestingly, hours before Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups hit theatres, the makers issued a strong warning against piracy and sharing spoilers online on August 25. The makers urged the viewers not to record scenes or reveal plot details on social media. Similarly, a Bengaluru court also restrained the publication and broadcast of false or defamatory content about the film.
