While speaking with ABP Live, Huma Qureshi opened up about working with Yash in Toxic and said, “I will only say this much: after working with Yash in this film, I have genuinely become an even bigger fan of him. Earlier, I used to think, yes okay, he is a massive star, he has a huge following. But when you see someone working and the way they work, the passion with which they work, I have learned a lot from him.”
Elaborating on the team’s vision, the actress said, “The film should be well made whenever it releases. And I think the entire team is involved, and work is going on day and night to make sure that when audiences come to the theatre, they get the best experience ever.”
Huma went on to add that Yash has outdone himself and that the film will be a visual treat for his fans. She said, “I will say it. I have seen an 8–9 minute cut of Toxic. Very small. As an actor, as someone who is a part of this film, I can tell you I have never seen such visuals before. Yash has really outdone himself. So I think this will be the biggest treat for Yash fans. We can only promise you that whenever it comes out—and it will come out soon—it will blow you away.”
In April, Variety India reported that the makers of Toxic showcased a nine-minute preview at CinemaCon 2026. It generated strong excitement and curiosity among the audience. The film also stars Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Akshay Oberoi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria.
About Toxic release date
The makers of the upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups recently revealed the film’s final release date after delays. The film is set to bow in cinemas on August 26, 2026. It was originally scheduled to release in cinemas on March 19, 2026, and clash with the Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar: The Revenge. However, its release was pushed to June 4. Later, the makers further postponed it as they reportedly wanted a larger global rollout and were working on international distribution partnerships.
