Ravi Teja’s Irumudi may be making noise at the box office, but it is the film’s youngest performer who seems to have won over some of the biggest names in the industry. Child actor Nakshathra, who plays Ravi Teja’s daughter in the film, recently received a memorable compliment from Dhanush, who was left in awe of her performance.
Dhanush praises Nakshathra
The Tamil star spoke to Nakshathra over a video call following Irumudi’s success celebrations. In a sweet moment that has now gone viral on social media, Dhanush jokingly told the young actor that he wanted to learn acting from her when they eventually met.

“I will learn acting from you one day when I meet you. Will you teach me? So wonderful, so beautiful. I am in awe of your performance. I want to meet you. Let’s definitely meet one day,” Dhanush told Nakshathra.
The little actor appeared visibly overwhelmed by the praise, especially when the National Award-winning actor asked if she would teach him acting. Nakshathra eventually agreed, making the adorable exchange an instant hit online.
The special video call took place after the Irumudi team held a success meet. Director Shiva Nirvana introduced Nakshathra to Dhanush during the interaction, and the child actor later shared the video on her social media account.
Nakshathra has emerged as one of the biggest talking points around the Ravi Teja-starrer, with audiences particularly praising her natural screen presence and her emotional scenes with the actor.
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna cheer
Meanwhile, Irumudi has also been receiving support from several stars. Vijay took to X to congratulate Ravi Teja, Shiva Nirvana and the team, writing, “What a glorious atmosphere in the Telugu cinema halls.” He called the film a “must watch” for its “gripping storytelling and the message”.

But one thing is clear, amid Ravi Teja’s star power and the film’s strong run, child actor Nakshathra has found herself with a growing list of famous fans. And Dhanush may just be the most unexpected one yet.
