Ram Charan’s Peddi is all set to make its digital debut after a successful theatrical run. Released on June 4, the sports action drama paired the actor with Janhvi Kapoor for the first time and went on to become one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of 2026 despite receiving mixed reviews. Now, fans waiting to watch the film from the comfort of their homes may not have to wait much longer.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi saw Ram Charan step into a rugged, action-packed role that won praise from audiences, while Janhvi Kapoor played Achiyamma, the daughter of a local politician. Though some viewers criticised parts of the screenplay and character development, the film continued to enjoy a strong run at the box office.

According to a report by 123Telugu, Peddi is expected to begin streaming on Netflix from July 2 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. The report further states that the Hindi version is likely to premiere on July 30 after completing the mandatory eight-week theatrical window for Hindi releases. However, neither Netflix nor the makers have officially announced the streaming dates.
The sports drama follows the journey of Peddi, a gifted village athlete who dreams of bringing recognition to his neglected hometown. After a rival derails his chances of competing at the National Wrestling Championship, he refuses to give up and reinvents himself as a para-track athlete. Alongside his sporting ambitions, the film also explores his romance with Achiyamma.
Apart from Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, the film features Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Boman Irani, Divyenndu Sharma and Ravi Kishan in pivotal roles. The music has been composed by Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman.
Peddi box office collection
While Peddi opened to mixed reviews, it found solid support at the ticket windows. The film maintained a steady run over the weeks and emerged as one of the biggest Telugu hits of the year.
According to Sacnilk, Peddi collected Rs 1.04 crore net in India on Day 25, taking its total India net collection to Rs 240.14 crore. The India gross stands at Rs 283.95 crore, while the film has earned Rs 52.90 crore overseas, pushing its worldwide gross collection to approximately Rs 336.85 crore.
With its theatrical journey nearing its end, all eyes are now on its expected OTT premiere, which is likely to introduce the sports drama to an even wider audience.
