Sai Pallavi has a request for Dhanush amid his political entry buzz

Sai Pallavi has been receiving widespread praise for her portrayal of Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana Part 1. After Ramayana, she will next share screen space with Dhanush and Mammootty in the upcoming Tamil film, OM – Chapter 1: Udhiram – The Blood Wood. At the pre-release event for Rajkumar Periasamy’s next album in Chennai, Sai opened up about her experience of working with Dhanush. She also seemingly addressed the rumours about his political entry, urging him not to give up acting like Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay. Sai further expressed her support for the actor.

Sai Pallavi and Dhanush were at the event, where the Ramayana actress spoke about her experience working with the Asuran star. Sai said she had a wonderful time working with him. She also spoke about his alleged political entry and said, “On the way here, I saw so many flags that it almost felt like a political gathering. Whatever you do, sir, I will support you. Just recently, Vijay sir entered politics and stopped acting. I was hoping and praying that Dhanush sir would always remain with us as an actor. But I am so happy to give you the warmth and compassion that you’ve given me through OM.”

Following her statement, Dhanush addressed his political entry rumours and said, “There has been a lot of speculation about me. People have said that I am being directed by someone, that they are by my side. But God is the only one who guides and directs me. Meanwhile, OM Chapter 1 stars Sreeleela, Naseeruddin Shah, Indrans and others in key roles. It is scheduled to hit theatres on November 20, 2026.
