Jr NTR’s team has issued an official statement sharing that the actor sustained a shoulder injury in an incident on the evening of Monday, July 27. The team stated that he had sustained a shoulder injury during an activity, while sharing his health update. The actor has been advised 6-8 weeks of complete rest, the statement added.
Jr NTR suffers shoulder injury
Following the incident on Monday evening, Jr NTR was immediately rushed for a thorough medical evaluation by a team of attending specialists, headed by Dr. J. Madhusudan Rao and Dr. R. A. Purnachandra Tejaswi.

The statement added that to ensure a smooth, complete, and uninterrupted recovery, the medical team has advised the actor to take complete rest for the next six to eight weeks. The statement further read, “We would like to reassure all fans, well-wishers, and members of the media that there is absolutely no cause for panic. NTR is currently in stable condition, resting comfortably, and receiving the highest standard of medical care.”
“We will continue to share official updates regarding his health and recovery as and when appropriate. Thank you for your understanding and continued support,” it concluded.
Jr NTR’s workfront
Jr NTR was currently shooting his upcoming massive action film directed by Prashanth Neel, titled Dragon. The film, also starring Anil Kapoor and Rukmini Vasanth, is reportedly set against an international drug trade background and slated for release on June 11, 2027.
Just a day ago, on July 26, a report by 123Telugu stated that the makers were actively filming an important action sequence featuring the actor in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The team planned to shoot several high-voltage stunt scenes during this schedule, which are expected to be among the biggest highlights of the film. The team has also reportedly built a massive European-style backdrop for the same.
Apart from Dragon, Jr NTR has God of War with director Trivikram Srinivas and Devara: Part 2 in the pipeline.
