As the student protests over the alleged NEET paper leak and examination irregularities continue to escalate throughout the country, actor Jyotika has joined the list of celebrities publicly supporting the students. However, while most celebrities did not name anyone while expressing thier solidarity with the students, Jyotika chose not to mince words and posted a bold message calling out Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, demanding his resignation.
Jyotika demands Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation
On Saturday, July 25, Jyotika shared a note on Instagram to support the ongoing student protest against alleged irregularities in competitive examinations and the NEET paper leak. She also backed the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), which started the protest.

Her straightforward note read, “Step down Dharmendra Pradhan. Resign. I stand with the students and future of our nation! I stand with accountability! I stand for a democratic India! I stand for a reformed education!”
“Sonam Wangchuk, Abhijeet Dipke and Saurav Das, as mothers we want to raise our children to be like you… Proud of you Gen Z’s for being unfiltered. You have proved that together. “WE” are India. Thank you for breaking the pressure Thank you for making us fearless CJP,” she further added.
Netizens hail Jyotika
Jyotika’s straightforward message impressed netizens who have been slamming celebrities over their diplomatic and timed messages over the days. One user commented on her post saying, “Well clearly said… not diplomatic… straight to the point.” Another user wrote, “You gotta teach others how to write a post.”
Another user noted, “jyotika i don’t think any other “celebrity” dared to do this. Growing up watching your films, I loved you as an actor, however, today, I admire your humanness. I hope this doesn’t cause you any backlash and I hope to God you and your beloved family stay safe.”
One user even wrote, “She had the courage to call out the minister by name when many others didn’t. I’m genuinely proud of her.” Another user praised her and wrote, “Straight to the point…No balancing, no more calls for peace.. just immense solidarity with the protesters…Bravo”
Taking a jibe at other celebrities, one fan commented, “Unlike other so called drama celebrities waiting for approval from their PR team , Ma’am respect to you that you have took a stern stand in your voice.”
