In another clip, Vijay was seen standing behind Rashmika and holding her close as they walked out of the temple after receiving blessings. One video even shows a massive crowd trying to get close to the couple, while their security keeps them away. Vijay looked worried for a moment as they almost got mobbed while heading to their car. The crowd can be seen trying to touch them as Vijay shielded Rashmika until she got into the car.

After visiting the temple, the couple headed to the Ranabaali sets to resume filming. They were welcomed with a traditional harathi as women applied kumkum on their foreheads with kumkum.
Ranabaali is a historical action-drama helmed by Rahul Sankrityan of Shyam Singha Roy fame. The story is set between 1854 and 1878 and focuses on resistance against colonial rule and the Great Indian Famine. While Vijay plays the titular role, Rashmika plays his wife, Jayamma, in the film. Arnold Vosloo from The Mummy plays the antagonist.
The couple also took to their respective Instagram accounts to share unseen pictures from their wedding, marking their one-month anniversary. In the posts, they thanked the people who played crucial roles in their wedding, like the jewellery designers, event organisers and more.
